William Carey University to Hold First Rural Health Care Summit September 16-17

The William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine announces their first Rural Health Summit which will be held on its Hattiesburg campus September 16-17, 2022. This CME event is geared toward physicians, residents, and medical students.

The Rural Health Summit will kick off Friday night at 7 pm with a film screening of Mississippi State University's award winning documentary "On The Farm." On Saturday, the summit will combine lectures with hands on sessions on the topics of Ultrasound, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), and Obstetrics.

The event will offer 8 hours of AOA credit and has applied for 8 hours of AAFP credit. There will be no cost to attendees and no charge for the CME credits.
